i realized pretty early that what i really interested and was doing things that hadn't been done before. By the time i was like 20, it had been my goal, you'l be a physicist. Im er in instead of rethinking how the foundations of physics might work. And so got into and got some confidence to try and do things where that were sort of further out on the curve than people think is possible.
