The Shit No One Tells You About Writing

Grief is a journey our bodies invite us into to process a range of diverse emotions, often simultaneously. I think the magic and writing happens when we give voice to those immediate and specific emotions our characters are experiencing as a result of their grieving. The Horse Mage was written for anyone who has ever whispered to a horse and dreamed it might answer back. Although Carly and C.C. don't list YA fantasy among the preferred genres, I would love for a guest agent to consider my debut YA fantasy The Horse Mage.
