The Importance of Delegating Technical Decisions
As an engineering manager, you very much don't have one hat. You tend to have several hats. In my position where I'm sort of unstraddling between the technical lead and the engineering manager at the moment, I have two hats. The third and final example I would give for now is just wearing one hat basically. But I think this partly depends on the company that you work for or like me if you work in a sort of startup.
