The Importance of Trust in a Child's Life

Amy was too hard to handle at home and Amy knew this so that was a hard label for her to shoulder. At different times she would go home though spend time with mum and look after the little ones. As we learnt more through assessment we discovered that there was at least three generations here of disadvantage, poverty, unemployment. grandma had a mental illness she was quite open about telling us about her mental illness and her treatment. And with time Amy was able to trust me more as the key worker but appointments really were crisis driven tooso often Amy and grandma would turn up just to tell the story of what the last big fight was or how many holes she put in the wall.
