98.6 that thing we all sort of bow before was just a little footnote from the 1800s. Edward Seguin is the person who actually translated Vonderlek's work and introduced it to the United States. He writes this manual called family thermometry which is supposed to teach mom how to take her kids temperature. And I feel like this like marketing campaign that happened at the end of the 1800s in the early 1900s is essentially been handed down to us through the century. It turns out that there's a lot of variation across all these different parameters.
