Many people will simply not have heard of constantin loliontiev, which is unfortunate. Where? Where can we situate him historically? There's a main line of russian thought, really, from the time of the great in the very early eighteenth century. He postulated em something that was closer to a pan orthodox culture and would insulate russia against excessive liberalism coming from europe.
