Writing a Book About Women's Divorce
After 11 years of marriage, Ashton realized she couldn't stay married. She wrote a book called cutting loose about why women who end their marriages do so well. By 19 90 sales of the books were petering out, but ashton had made well over a million dollars and been able to buy an apartment with her two young children. Ashton says writing the book change how she sees the world; it made her a feminist.
