Is There a Scarcity of Knowledge?

I think there's this sort of idea that, you know, oh, the more you consume the more that you learn. And the problem is that that doesn't really work because we have an abundance of content. What's the most moronic irrelevant thing that you watched or clicked on this week? I'm pretty sure it was something I watched on Vice News. It's a sickening downward spiral that we see on the internet with an overload of information.
