The Toxic Masculinity of Ariel
The kissing part I think was like the final cherry on the themes of toxic masculinity. It just still seemed to me to be like, you're overlooking Ariel to think she doesn't want to be kissed right there. But we're talking about a lot deeper meaning here. And it's sort of like what they're telling you and what they're trying to show you. The song has a great fucking hook. You know, it's the antithesis of the American dream, but it's a rock number.
