Should We Cut Entitlements?
CNN's John Defterios says the U.S. needs to cut entitlements and do it now, rather than wait for a later date. He argues that there is no political viable way to make meaningful cuts in entitlements without also makingmeaningful cuts in other parts of the budget. But if we can get our fiscal house in order, reduce government borrowing, reduce spending, balance the budget, "we would actually be a better credit risk at that point," he adds.
