The Perfect Rhyme

The poem also inverts the refrain, right? Like three times we get some version of when you have forgotten that I say. It's really abstract and we are left with nothing, but then also the roles feel sort of reversed in a particular way. The perfect rhyme makes me feel like it should be that, but it's not. Even despite the perfect rhyme, um, I don't know, I was just thinking a lot about the musicality throughout the piece too. Yeah.
