The funeral director who's got a contract for that region will collect the body and then take your body to the nearest hospital. Then at the hospital, they will try and determine if they will determine the cause of death. If they're unable to determine that cause of death, your body then has to be sent to the coroner. That process can take anywhere from a week to two to three weeks. So it can be a really even more kind of what I would say, shocking in a sense on the family, especially if it's a sudden or an accidental death.
