French courts have ruled that Instagram influencers' drinks adverts are illegal and must be removed. Companies such as Champagne-Brown-Loron-Perrier have had posts that they are linked to removed by French courts after breaking French law. Addictions France took Mette or Instagram to court and Instagram have now been forced to take down posts from around 20 drink fluences who together have a combined 5 million followers on the social media platform.
