The Uneasy Middle Ground for the Buddha

For the Buddha's teaching, one can behave skillfully and still be creating dukkha. How to promote a way of life that allows for that and yet doesn't go too far? I don't know how extensive it's going to be, but I think sure we should promote it. We incandescent light bulbs are now coming completely off the market.
