The Rise of Police Shootings in Australia
There was a surge, I guess you should say, about two years ago, where it rose up quite sharply, the numbers in Australia. At average, it's somewhere around about five fatal police shootings in Australia per year. The public often has an issue when it is an internal investigation, for example, police investigating other police. A picture's worth a thousand words when it comes to a dispute as to what happened if someone had suffered serious injury or ultimately been killed by the police.
