I think you're absolutely right as to do with being frozen out from a process. Part of it has to do with the actual substance of what's being taught, right? I mean, like a lot of politics in history at the academic level these days is basically organization of various grievances. And so when critical race theory came up, yeah, people on the right were saying stupid things. It was very jeso-edical. What they were saying was, no one actually teaches,. which is not true anyway, but noOne actually teaches the course on critical race theory. A critical race theory informs lots of other courses that are funded by colleges and universities across the U.S.
