Hoffmann's 'Black Magic'

Hoffman read extensively, and in 19 66 purchased a book titled the black magic by an occultist group in hamburg. The text fostered what would become a lifelong fascination of the dark arts. Hoffman believed that by carrying out his black magic rituals and consuming the blood of his victims, he would become handsome and strong.
