The Common Good

Common at least in English has kind of a low connotation, at least for snobs such as myself. What does common mean here? Isn't this superior, the proper, the noble? And where is the aristocratic good? We're good. So there's lots, there's so much here that we're kind of moving quickly along. But what I'd like to do in our time left is first talk about concrete examples for the city in the natural level and tie it back to the earlier discussion of Augustine. Then maybe have a brief discussion to tie back to the one we already had about what happens in modern thought and modern philosophy.
