ExxonMobil - It's a Bigger, Good Urban Organization

As a head of data science, at my company, I get to work on the strategy but don't really have to manage as many people anymore. It's harder to scale like that because obviously you couldn't run Exxon mobile with a one person team or any large organization. You might want to be an incredible individual contributor, which can pay even more dividends in some cases than being a great manager.
