The Left Party's Performance in the Last Election

D-Linka was the successive party of the former East German State Party SED. They were always kind of the party voicing concerns of the marginalized East Germans. And so they shared some of that to the AFD that kind of really established itself in some regions in Eastern Germany. But I think they lost a lot of voters to the social democrats as well, who kind of offered the option of a social democratic chancellor.
