How to Be a Technical Manager for a Race Weekend
I would describe the job as a technical manager because we have a lot of different disciplines to deal with aerodynamic systems, vehicle dynamics and powertrain strategy. We usually prepare in the simulator together with the driver, try to find a good initial starting setup. Post-race, we will give feedback to the factory to address the limitations of the car, where to improve. If it can be done in short time, otherwise important information for the following year, for the next year's car.
