Colleges Teach Bad Things
LZ Granderson: We teach kids that if they can come up with a colorable argument, right, about why they're offended, that's good enough. If it merely captures your subjective feelings, that's supposed to be enough because we live in this time where feelings sort of trump facts,. LZ: And so, yeah, colleges teach bad things. They've always taught bad things. This has been a conservative complaint about universities forever. But I think it is worse because it jibes with this way we form character on college campuses and tell people that you are obliged to hate your own country's past to question its past. It's passed to root around and look for proof
