Is It a VA ECMO or a Continuous Infusion?
It depends on how that patient did in labor and postoperatively. What was the underlying rhythm if you could find one after the adenosine was given? If they are getting a continuous infusion, can that medication be titrated on labor and delivery? And then also, too, what's going to be the next step? Do you have an echo and can you see that there are changes in the heart that would require some sort of emergency surgery?
