The Purpose of Being a Police Officer
I think for me, it was the sense of purpose that being a police officer gave. I know the police are getting a hard time, particularly in the media at the moment through a few bad examples. But the 99% of cops are really hardworking professional people who risk their lives every single day. And for me,. it was giving a voice to people who didn't have a voice.
