The Big Bang and the Water Cycle
The water in oceans, lakes and rivers is evaporated by the sun. Plants also sweat their water into the air through a process called transpiration. The same water you are drinking today was once drunk by cavemen. It was even there when first life forms on the planet developed billions of years ago.
