The Beauty of the Sunset Only Exists in My Mind
The fact that something is subjective doesn't make it just infinitely malleable or infinitely arbitrary. The beauty of the sunset only exists because i see it, but it's not true that therefore i can see the sunset as ugly if i want to. We are always conquering nature, because nature is the name for what we have, to some extent, conquered. Every conquest over nature increases her domain. And once you reject those truths, you've basically rendered nature dead.
