Thoughboris johnson is standing down as briton's prime minister. The news was first revealed on b b c radio this morning. A succession of scandals had piled pressure on mister johnson. Last month, he survived a confidence vote, but with forty % of his own m ps voting against him. Still, he insisted that he could govern and unite his party. But all this week, support from even his closest and most loyal cabinet colleagues and ministers had been ebbing away. With dozens of ministerial resignations, we have reason to question the truth and integrity of what we've all been told. I believe that point is now.
