Defi Is About Access and Inclusion
I think defi is about two things. It's about access and inclusion. I would add one more thing to it, which is making all these assets programmable. But the example that i'm really looking forward to is, if i can prove that i have held apple shares for ten years, that i get a discount on my apple prodducts,. That would actually be new innovation. The reason why traditional markets don't want their shareholders to lock out their long term stability is because they cannot manage the plumbing. They only want short-term liquidity. So having the ability to lock up your shares and get more voting power in exchange for trade offs could be an enormously valuable thing.
