Predictability of a Simple Chaos Model Like Lorenz 63

Lorenz's famous paper in 1963 was a model which just had three variables. And it showed this property that a small amount of uncertainty in one of the variables could eventually cause the system to become unpredictable. In weather forecasting, we're not dealing with these kind of very what are called low order chaotic systems. We're dealing with the Navier-Stokes equations, which is kind of Newton's laws of motion for a fluid.
