Justin Martyr and Clement of Alexandria

Clement of Alexandria was born a generation or two after Justin Martyr, who died in the 160's. He sat down some major works of Christian theology in the 190's and first decade of the 200's. The Protrepicus sets itself up as almost a stand-up routine with Clement stating: "I will prove pagan stories and rituals to be full of imposter and quackery"
