Alan Fister: To set some definitions for people of what we would consider normal versus high or within the diabetic range is going to be an important starting point. So there's maybe three or four measures we'll mention here. With fasting glucose, we have a normal measure being between 70 milligrams per deciliter and 100millimoles per liter in US units. And then with oral glucose tolerance test where we give someone typically 75 grams of glucose containing solution and then test their blood glucose response over two hours. Now to start off with, let's consider this first potential claim or this first hypothesis put forward that in those without pre-diabetes and without type two diabetes that lower average
