Luther was more strident, if I could use that word, more vigorous in his defense of bondage to the will and unconditional election. Calvin's became known as reformed theology. And what we're talking about here is within a few hundred years, a couple of hundred years after the Reformation,. After Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses in 1517, the year after the New Testament was put together.
