The Legacy of the Old Mesoamerican Heads
The old mech set a number of important precedents for later cultures and they are not setting them alone it's in interaction with very early Maya and the people who will later become the Zapotec. They're an important part of the foundation for later Mesoamerican peoples but at the same time even if you dismiss the legacy element there is so much more to love and learn about the old mech than just the heads.
