Plutarch's Criticism of Lysander

Lysander is true, won two victories in as many naval battles. And I will add to his exploits his siege of Athens,. But it looks as though he was injudicious in not waiting for the large forces of King Pausanias which had all but arrived from Platea. Plutarch's going to criticize Lysander on the way that he died. He threw away his life in gloriously, like a common targeteer or skirmisher.
