Is There a Proximate Argument in Cree?

The rule is, in any given chunk of text or discourse, one entity alone gets to be proximate. That's when all of your verb arguments are third person. Once you've got a first or second person subject, then your third person animates can be 'proximal' And that makes sense but there are probably language-language details that we're missing because I only have access to one grammar of these languages.
