The book is really resisting the science becoming magic trope thing. I think it is interested in what we think we understand about like quantum entanglement and stuff like that. It's not just like magic space telekinesis you know but the fact that after three or four dimensions like we just can't perceive it. Even though Mike personally makes all those bottles of lemonade.
