Investors are worried about a recession before the 20 24 presidential election. How would a divided government react in providing fiscal stimulus this time around? Mero: The partisan divide in washington is so severe that even if both sides agreed that there was a need to try to help the economy out, i suspect the proposals on both sides would be so radically different they wouldn't pass anything.
