Do You Identify as a Man or Male?

When you have a conversation with someone, then does that mean you might ask them a question? like, do you identify? Like let's say it's a biological female who is a transgender man. A biological female identifies though this could be hard. So maybe you should ask a question like,Do you identify as a man or male? Do people make that difference in sex versus gender?
