The first working computer took shape in 1946. Peter Drucker: It is not the existence of knowledge, but the convergence and cross-pollination of knowledge that drives progress. He says we can never predict at what point two seemingly useless bits of knowledge will lock into a conversation that is infinitely useful. The challenge with the internet is that it's increasingly well-tailored for helping us find more of what we know we're looking for, he adds.
