When i got to play on that record, it was a dream come true. It was like i was finally playing with the a team. The combination of those two guys playing together, you have all the free and the imagination of tony rice. But it's put into a rhythmic context by sam bush's chop. And feathering the banjo into that is like the easiest thing in the world. So when i made that first record, we're talking about drive, that's the band I wanted and was lucky enough to get.
