How to Carbon Date Shipwrecks
The 1941 Blenheim and the 1943 Bristol Bowfighter both sunk off the Malta coast. There's also the Micronesian Chuklegoon, which is a former Japanese naval base that Jack Casto explored in 1969. Water typically doesn't affect our ability to carbon date unless only part of the wood has been decomposed,. like the organic matter.
