The 10,000 Talent Debt
10,000 talents is basically a hundred million denary and in the scenario, this is a typical day's wage for a common laborer. If you worked 300 days a year, it would take you about 33 years to just be able to save up money for one talent. Jesus is trying to stress not only the debt that he owes, but that he's going to compare it unto the other servant's debt. He was moved with compassion, loosed him and forgave the debt.
