Propaganda

The Global Engagement Center is an interagency group housed at the state department. It was originally designed to combat foreign terrorism and address the problem of why. The center's director, Richard Stengel, says it wants to hold a compartment open for good propaganda. "I think they're very serious about the concept of propagating the faith," he says.
