A Brief History of AI and LLM Development at Google
Before we had a product, it's just very, very hard to kind of imagine what the thing is going to be capable of. So we didn't really find it useful to even hire anyone on the product side. I mean, well, that that'll change probably in the future, but, you know, so far, it is mostly engineers who kind of understand what, what the possibilities are and have the best chance of setting the direction.
