Freedom for the Pike Is Death for the Minnows

The idea that you could have freedom for the pike and the minnows and they would live happily is just implausible. Isaiah Berlin, if you look carefully at what he means by these ideas, he means by equality, everybody having the same thing. We ought to pursue the idea of getting working ideals framed in terms of our political values.
