The Advantages of Syndication Over Stock Market
You can't compare the risk profile of going into syndication versus owning a portfolio of index funds. You have to also diversify your real estate holdings between different syndicators, different operators and different classes. If you're going to say that I only buy apartment buildings in New York City and I'm not going to diversify from it, if that's what you're doing as a business model, great. But once you add leverage to the mix, you just can't compare those two things.
