I was so ill equipped to do this. That's why so much the stuff got fucked up. Sure, the contractor and the tradesmen and the sub contractors didn't do things on time but it was ecause i'm not a project manager for construction. The other thing recommend is whatever your g c tells you, and i don't care if it's your father, lok, here it's your best friend, assume that they are going to be 30 % over budget at minimum.
