This is how we handle the mixed perfections of god, which would be what most people would consider today, metaphorical talk of god. We say these of god, not removing anything of their predicate, but retaining the whole of it in an affirmative judgment. These are the names, wisdom, goodness and others of that sort, that most people would call, to day, the divine attributes. And again, we've adequately divided up positive and negative names. When we've made that to be in our minds, then we can turn to make theological moves in us - both formally and analogically.
