The first thing is to think about whether or not the treatments, the length of the treatment should be proportional to the way the story works. The biggest problem treatments have is that they often read like a list of things that happen one after another. Make sure in your treatment, action derives from character. If you do that, your story won't read too potty. It's analyzing them and knowing what to look for that is the hard part. I can go to the gym and do a bunch of weights but I have no idea whether my form is good or not. You know, surprising as it might be to chaser.
