D dynamo left her marriage with just her loom and he clothes, and she did not look back. From the time that she separated from her husband through the 19 thirties, she built her career. She became a close collaborator of architect frank lloyd wright, designing fabrics for several of his projects. Her fabrics hung in the paramount theatre in oakland, california, night clubs and sumptuous hotel lobbies. So things were going pretty swell for dynamo dot when she got that call at the gotham hotel in 19 forty one america was now at war,. And her fabrics didn't feel so important any more.
